SMS Consent and Opt-In Workflow

This page explains how users explicitly consent to receive Chronacal transactional text messages and what messages they can expect after opting in.

How users opt in

Users opt in to receive Chronacal transactional SMS messages by entering their phone number during one of the following user-initiated flows on Chronacal-powered websites:

  • Account registration
  • Login verification or one-time passcode verification
  • Booking or appointment scheduling
  • Service-related requests or updates

Phone numbers are verified using OTP before SMS messaging is enabled. Messages are only sent after explicit user interaction and consent.

Consent disclosure at opt-in

At the point of consent, users are informed that Chronacal will send transactional SMS messages related to the service they requested.

  • Chronacal is identified as the sender
  • Messages are limited to transactional notifications such as verification, booking, and service updates
  • Message frequency varies based on the user's activity
  • Message and data rates may apply
  • Reply STOP to opt out
  • Reply HELP for help

Users can review the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy before opting in.

  • OTP verification codes
  • Booking confirmations
  • Service-related notifications

What this program does not send

Chronacal does not send promotional or marketing text messages through this campaign. Messaging is limited to transactional and user-requested service communication.

Keyword support

Users may text JOIN to opt back in where keyword re-enrollment is supported.

Users may text STOP to opt out and HELP to receive support information.

Opt-in confirmation: "Chronacal Alerts: You are subscribed to receive transactional SMS messages for verification, booking, and service updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out."

Help message: "Chronacal Alerts: For help, visit https://www.chronacal.com/sms-consent or email support@chronacal.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Stop message: "Chronacal Alerts: You have successfully unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages. Reply JOIN to opt back in."
